The 2023 Sierra 1500 Denali Ultimate is an impressive and rugged truck with a variety of trims to choose from. While we love them all, the “Ultimate” trim has a lot to offer that will enhance your driving experience. UNDER THE HOOD

One of the top reasons to go with the Ultimate over the standard Denali is when you want more power under the hood. The standard engine is a 6.2-liter V8 gas engine. You can also opt to get the enhanced 3-liter Duramax turbo-diesel engine.

The max horsepower is 450, which also helps with the towing capacity. Whether you plan on towing trailers, boats, or anything else, you can enjoy at least 8500 pounds of towing capacity with the Sierra 1500 – and that nearly triples to 21,900 pounds when you upgrade to the even larger Sierra 2500.

It’s only in a 4WD, but you wouldn’t want anything else. It offers that extra level of ruggedness to tackle any kind of terrain you plan on tackling.

TOP EXTERIOR FEATURES

You’ll find quite a few exterior features within the Ultimate to get excited about. This includes exclusive 22-inch low-gloss black aluminum wheels, complete with machined accents.

You can’t help but notice the slightly aggressive front grille. It’s the signature Denali Vader chrome design. The black design helps to add to the intimidation factor whenever you drive the truck around town.

Of course, you’ll also get to configure the truck to meet your needs – a crew cab with a short box or a crew cab with a standard box. There will be a few exterior add-ons, too, including splash guards, step lights for the tailgate, and more.

You’ll also have five colors to choose from including black, sterling, titanium, blue, and white.

TOP INTERIOR FEATURES

The interior may give you pause because it’s considerably more luxurious than you would expect out of a big truck. The Alpine Umber is a unique design that is specific to the Ultimate trim level.

You’ll find authentic open-pore Paldao wood accents throughout the interior. There’s also full-grain leather seating. And to ensure the ultimate level of comfort in the front seat, you’ll also find 16-way power front seats, complete with a massaging feature.

The cargo convenience package can be found, too. It offers a console-mounted safe for some of your valuables as well as some much-needed rear under-seat storage. If you’re driving this around as your primary form of transportation, you’ll want to spend the money for this add-on.

MORE INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGY

The Denali Ultimate is loaded with innovative technology to deliver more entertainment, comfort, and safety.

You’ll notice that as soon as you turn on the music, you’ll be greeted with incredible sound – and that’s because of a 12-speaker Bose Premiums Series sound system with Centerpoint Surround Sound.

An available Super Cruise also provides you with hands-free driver assistance technology. It helps you to maximize cruise control so that it’s even more effortless than before. Particularly when you’re on a lengthy road trip, this feature can reduce road fatigue.

THE UNIQUE CARBONPRO BED

The bed of a pickup truck is arguably one of the most important features – and it needs to be rugged enough to keep up with everything you’re loading into it.

The CarbonPro composite bed is an available feature, and it’s the first of its kind when it comes to passenger trucks. This kind of innovation is typically only seen in aerospace applications and supercars.
